Your optometrist feels that your eyes need further evaluation for dry eye disease.

The Initial consultation: 1-hour-dry-eye-consultation

Testing includes

Osmolarity | how concentrated your tears are

Breakup Time | how quickly your tears evaporate

Lifestyle assessment | questionnaire for signs and symptoms

Lid Lag | test for incomplete or partial blinking

Lipiscan™ | imaging of Meibomian glands

Procedures includes

Blephex procedure | lash (blepharitis) cleaning treatment

Bruder Mask™ | proper hot compresses and lid massage

Tea Tree oil | mostly for Acne Rosacea patients

The follow-up visits included: appointment-schedule-for-dry-eye-treatment3 or 4 visits in the first 6 months

Progress assessments and suggestions on continuing success of the program.

The fee for Dry Eye Disease program, which includes all of the above, is $175.00 and includes a 50% off Restasis card for patients where it is useful.
